The popular FIITJEE Talent Reward Examinations 2014 was held at Union Christian Higher Secondary School with The Hindu Education Plus as media partner.

FIITJEE conducted the exam at various places in the country in order to help students pass competitive examinations by acquiring a holistic knowledge of the subjects.

V. Muthu Murugan, Academic Operations Manager, FIITJEE, said 514 students took the exam in Madurai and the results would be announced in the second week of January. “The exam was for students of State Board, CBSE and other streams. Primarily, it helps them know where they stand in each subject and prepare well, especially for IIT entrance test,” he added. The exam was conducted in two batches. Successful students would be given awards and prizes.

Mr. Murugan said subject-wise toppers would be identified and cash scholarships given to them.

“Since this is an all-India exam, students will be able to gauge their national-level ranking. The result will be sent to them in the form of an analysis,” he said.

The subjects covered in the exam with objective type questions included Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The IQ of students would also be assessed.
